ADGT Volleyball League: CHAMPION

hooray! We won the Volleyball League last night. Throughout the league, we have no lose game points until the final championship game. The game last night was really tough because the opponent team had also good standing in the preliminary league. Only our group had given them one lose point to their standing. No matter how tough it is, at least it gives me a happy ending. Cheers! "Sorry, I couldn't give you treat right now, hehehehe..."

next year, i will do better than what I did this year. Better get ready!

Green Zap

Hi folks!

There's a new site that can be used in buying through EBay, Yahoo Auctions, and other similar online auctions. It is similar with PayPal but it will be available in the Philippines by June 2005. It's free pre-registration but it would give incentives when referring to anybody. Click this link to add as your referral of mine. Thanks!

Personal Review: Full House

Full House was introduced in the Philippines by 2005 and it was one of my favorite Korean TV series that I watched after work. This was aired by GMA-7 network in the evening primetime but right to this date, it is now aired again in the late afternoon after the Evening news "24 oras".

I got a DVD copy for this and it is composed of 16 1-hour episodes. Actually, there is no English dubbed in DVD but it has an English subtitle option. Also, the video is clear and full screen and the audio is very good.

Cast:
The original screen names are different here in the Philippines. The original names are not common so they are changed into popular names.

Original - Changed to - Actor/Actress
Han Ji Eun - Jessie - Song Hye Kyo
Lee Young Jae - Justine - Jung Ji Hoon (Bi)
Kang Hae Won - Lorraine - Han Eun Jung
Yoo Min Hyuk - Luigi - Kim Sung Soo

Synopsis:
After return of Ji Eun from a wacky trip to China that her best friends paid for, she finds out that they did the plan to sell her beautiful house while she was away. She also finds that the new owner of the house is no other than Young Jae, the famous actor, whom she happened to meet on her trip. Some unlikely events bring Young Jae and Ji Eun into a marriage by contract, making them appear as couple to Young Jae's family and also to the public. In the terms of their contract, they will be married for 6 months while Ji Eun does all the housework. After 6 months, she will get the house back. During 6 months of their contract, Ji Eun shows an affection with Young Jae, but he loves his childhood friend, Hae Won. Young Jae’s friend, Min Hyuk, also shows an interest to Ji Eun. Many things happen to this funny duo that bring them closer together, but will they really become a real couple?

Pica-pics!
The original site is based in Korea: the texts are Korean but there are nice screenshots to view them. Enjoy!

My Oatmeal Recipe

Oatmeal is one of the best meal in reducing the cholesterol level and releasing the bad toxins in our digestive system. I usually eat a bowl of oatmeal once a day and it really gives me full of energy.

Common things on oatmeal are usually mixed with chocolate or milk like champorado or lugaw or baked to make oatmeal cookies or macaroons. But I have some twist in my oatmeal recipes and I would like to share them with you.

Oatmeal with Cream of Mushroom

1 cup oatmeal
4 cups water
1 pack cream of mushroom
1/2 cup mushroom, sliced
1/4 cup cooked bacon bits
salt to taste

Mix oatmeal, cream of mushroom, and water and then cook in 2-3 minutes or until cook. Once cooked, combine with the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 minute.

Chicken Oatmeal Soup (Similar Version of Arroz Caldo)

1 cup oatmeal
4 cups water
1 chicken broth cube
1/2 cup cooked chicken strips
1 teaspoon fried garlic bits
1 tablespoon onion leaves, chopped
1 boiled egg
salt to taste

Mix oatmeal and water and cook for 2-3 minutes or until cook. Add chicken broth cube, chicken strips, and onion leaves and simmer for 1 minute. Top with boiled egg and garlic bits.

Bon appetit!

I am a Naruto Fan!

Some of you won't believe that I just love Japanese anime cartoons. Well, I really love Japanese anime cartoons. My first fave anime series was Rurouni Kenshin, which is also called (Samurai X). It's a very good story of a wanderer (rurouni) with a black past of a assasin. It's a story of long reconciliation, getting a great turn of his life, and living up in protecting somebody. I watched all the episodes including the OVA episodes (Original Video Animation).

Right now, I also love the recent anime series (Naruto). A story of a young boy named Naruto who dreams to become a great Hokage (powerful ninja). His life with no parents and bitter loneliness can be rough to make a path of fulfilling his dream and not to include the curse (or probably a gift) inside him sealed by a previous Hokage which makes his life a little complicating. Well, that's enough for a synopsis but you can check the story on this website.

I got some test on what type of Naruto character I am with on this site. I'm glad that I got the main character and I believe Naruto and I have some similar traits.

TQM Fest 2005

Yup, it's a TQM Fest 2005: a mark wherein all breakthrough processes and projects are presented and these makes the company a better place to work with. It was 05/05/05 and I am feeling lucky about this. By the way, I made two intermission numbers on the event: the keyboard playing together with the duo and the group dance number.
